Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress known for her performances in the movies Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Hain Kun..! She started her career in the early 1980s and was introduced to fame with her appearance in Tezaab, a film where she starred with the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Her birthplace was in an Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance at a very young age. At the age of 16 actress, she began performing but suffered through a number of years due to the fact that her initial films ended up failing. However, she eventually achieved success and eventually became one of the top actors in the Indian film industry. Following her marriage, she took one year off and then returned to entertainment. More recently she played an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women within India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. The actress was also honored with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her charitable work is very well-known.
